ARRIVAL – ALOHA!
Itinerary Requests – Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an Itinerary Request email. Please fill in the flight arrival and departure info and travel cell numbers, as we rely on this information to schedule check-ins. We estimate that you will arrive at the house 1.5 – 2hrs after your flight lands if you travel directly from the airport with a rental car. Please let us know if you plan to make stops along the way.
Time– Our standard check in time is 3 pm. If available, we can do courtesy check ins as early as 1 pm. You can secure an early check in (between 7 am and 3 pm) with your reservationist at half of the nightly rate. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to arrive earlier than 3 pm.
Check In – An HVR representative will greet you at the house. We’ll do a quick walkthrough, go through any pertinent information, answer questions and ask you to sign a few papers to confirm booking dates and acknowledge house policies. Check in usually takes about 20 minutes.
DEPARTURE – ALOHA!
Time – Our standard departure time is 10 am. If available, we can do a check out as late as 12 noon as a courtesy. You can secure a late check out (between 10 am and 7 pm) with your reservationist at half of the nightly rate. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to leave later than 10 am.
Check Out– Upon check out, please make sure to leave all the keys and remotes and please double check the house and closets for personal belongings. We can send forgotten items back to you, but there will be a shipping & service fee. We try to have an HVR Representative present at each check out, however, if the schedule does not permit, we may ask you to do a self check out. This includes making sure all the doors are locked, A/C units and appliances are off, and gates are closed. You do not need to strip the beds, empty the refrigerators or wash the linens as these are included in your departure-cleaning fee.
Damages and Security Deposits– If any damages have occurred during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible. Otherwise, damages will be assessed during the departure clean. If, at that time, damages are noted, we will discuss them with you before deducting from the security deposit. Typically, security deposits are returned within 3 weeks of check out if there are no damages or deductions.
Standard Amenities and Supplies
Our villas are stocked with all basic furnishings and supplies
Kitchen – All dining utensils, cooking utensils and dishes, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, cleaning products, cleaning rags, paper towels, etc.
Bathrooms – Towels for the sleeping capacity of the house; soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner (usually Dove brand); hairdryers; hand soap; toilet paper, etc.
Bedrooms – All linens and comforters with an extra set of sheets in the closets, pillows with covers and liners (synthetic or down alternative)
Bed Configurations – Some bedrooms contain two twin beds. Sometimes, these beds can be joined and made up as king beds if we have advanced notice. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in this option.
Laundry Rooms – Washer and dryer, detergent, fabric softener, iron, ironing board and drying rack
WiFi and Cable – All houses have password protected Wi-Fi and cable and/ or digital streaming apps.
Outdoors – Beach towels for the sleeping capacity of the house; beach chairs; beach umbrellas; boogie boards. Many houses have beach and sand toys left by previous guests, but we cannot vouch for this equipment.
Shipping Packages to the Villa
Since each villa rental is a unique and individual home, the procedure for shipping packages varies. If you would like to receive packages while you are in-house, please be aware that not all houses are accessible by street – some have driveway gates, etc.. If you would like to ship packages before your arrival, you may ship them to our professional receiving address and we will deliver to the house. First trip is free. Standard hourly rates apply if packages require more than one trip. Contact guest services for shipping address.
