Uniquely positioned as the very last house on the cul-de-sac, this 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath Villa is the most private unit in the Wai’ula’ula community. Because of its position, you have 180-degree views of the ocean and not a single visible rooftop between you and the water. In addition, the back yard is completely shielded from the lights on the other houses as well as the lights from the resorts which means you can sit on the lanai or in the pool and watch the incredible star show every night. We chose this house specifically for these reasons! The house was aptly christened by a Hawaiian elder as Hale Ho’Omaha—the house of respite from the busy world.

The floorplan of this Villa is ideal for families or groups—everyone has their privacy, but the main room, kitchen, and lanai provide a wonderful gathering place to hang out. Two walls of sliding doors open fully to achieve a massive indoor-outdoor space contiguous with the pool and hottub. Because of the unobstructed 180-degree view from south to west to north, this is one of the few houses where you get the signature Kona sunset views year-round. The lanai has been enlarged and the salt-water pool and hottub are positioned perfectly for ocean and sky views.

The house has two large master suites on opposite sides of the house. Each has a king bed outfitted with a high-end memory foam mattress. The beds, linens, mattresses, and pillows in this unit are better than even luxury hotels and guests rave about the comfortable beds regularly. One master bedroom has a spacious private outdoor shower that is hidden in a botanical garden of plants. Use it alone or with someone special. Both master bathrooms have dual vanities and large walk-in closets. The third guest room has two queen sized beds outfitted with memory foam mattresses and high quality pillows as well. There is a walk in closet and private bathroom.

The kitchen is outfitted with all of the amenities necessary to make great food. The owner is an accomplished chef who owns restaurants and you get all of his favorites: Le Creuset pots, Made-in cast iron skillets, Damascus blade cutlery, and lots of professional appliances including Wolf cooktop, BBQ and oven and a large Sub-Zero refrigerator and a separate wine refrigerator.

This smarthouse is fully integrated with Control 4 and there is high-speed wi-fi throughout the property. There is a TV in each bedroom and a giant high-definition TV in the living room. All the TV's have local cable and you can easily access your Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Apple TV, and other TV app accounts through the TV interface. There are zoned in-ceiling speakers throughout the house and lanai with connection ability to all major music streaming services. The living room TV also has KEF studio speakers for exquisite movie sound.

Wai’ula’ula is a code-gated community located within the guard-gated Mauna Kea Resort. It is safe and tranquil and sunrise and sunset walks are gorgeous along the paths and the adjacent golf course. The community has a large amenity center that has a sizeable salt-water pool, a community BBQ area and a fitness center for your use. There is a garage but it is not available for parking. There is parking in front of the garage.

The VIP Amenity Package is available to guests to add to their rental for an additional daily fee. This package grants access to the pools and beach clubs including chairs, complimentary towels and umbrellas at the Mauna Kea and Westin Resorts on property. It also includes discounted golf at the two 18-hole championship courses, access to the amazing cliff-side tennis center, workout facilities, and priority parking at both resorts. Just the parking access alone is worth the fee!
