Hale Ama is an oceanfront villa located in the magical neighborhood of Puako on the Big island of Hawaii. Puako is one of the sunniest destinations in Hawaii with a unique blend of old Hawaii charm and one of the most pristine coastlines in the islands. Each day is filled with the sound of the sea, coconut trees swaying in the tropical breeze and the beauty of Hawaii. You share a sandy beach with sea turtles and play on an oceanfront rich with sea life. Your day ends with one of the most stunning sunsets in the world.
As you enter the gated property you are greeted by lush tropical landscape. Hale Ama has a two-story main house and a guesthouse. This unique property is designed for relaxed and luxurious Hawaii style living. There is almost 7000 square feet of beautifully crafted living space with over 2000 square feet of covered lanais.
The beautifully furnished main house includes a living room with 27 ft. of folding glass doors which open to a covered lanai. This expansive opening provides spectacular ocean views and an open air feeling throughout the house. The first floor includes a fully equipped, modern kitchen with an island/bar, a large and comfortably furnished entertainment room with a 50” flat screen TV, a queen bedroom with full bath and an additional guest bathroom which can be entered from the beach. The second floor has two spacious king bedrooms each with its own bath and amazing ocean views, one with its own private lanai. There is also an office with internet, computer and printer. The home has Wi-Fi and sound systems throughout the house. The main house sleeps six.
The guesthouse is separate from the main house and has 2 bathrooms, flat screen television, Wi-Fi and Hawaiian furnishings. The bedroom has a king sized bed and bathroom. In addition, there is a dinning area and a modern kitchen. The guesthouse is located behind the main house with its own lanai and is just steps across the lawn to the beach. The guesthouse sleeps 2.
Enjoy a morning walk to Puako Petroglyph Archaeological Preserve, swim with the sea turtles in front of the house, go snorkeling, explore tide pools, or just relax on the lanai. Surfing and great golf courses are nearby. In winter months, you can watch the magnificent humpback whales from the lanais. At the end of the day enjoy Puako’s beautiful sunsets.
