Why do we have to rent for a month (30 days)?

Due to City and County of Honolulu zoning restrictions, we rent only once per 30 days.

How do I book a house?

If there is a particular house you would like to book please contact us and we will verify the dates you want are still available, place a courtesy hold on it and then send you the rental agreement.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, US checks and wire transfers.

What is the refundable security deposit?

The refundable security deposit is required to be paid to cover any damages to the home or incidental charges you may incur for services. Amounts vary per home but it is fully refundable and is returned less any charges approximately 30-45 days after you depart, although we will do our very best to return within 2 weeks.

What time can we arrive at the house?

Check ins are allowed between 3pm and 8pm, without prior written approval for any deviations. Early check ins are granted only space available by our Property Managers in the field as early as 11am. Any arrivals earlier require paying a 1/2 day rate, based on availability.

What time do we need to depart our rental house?

Check out time is 10am. Late check outs are guaranteed space available only by our property managers a few days prior up until 1pm. Any later departures up till 6pm, require paying a 1/2 day rate, based on availability.

How do we make sure these transactions are secure or we are protected?

It is always good to know the history of any company you are doing a transaction with so make sure they are a solid registered business, a member of the Better Business Bureau and have a client trust account into which your money is deposited. We also suggest you purchase vacation rental insurance to cover any unexpected events that could cancel your trip.

Can you help us arrange Guest Services?

Yes we can book a variety of guest services for you including baby rentals, pre-stocking of groceries, chef, maid, luau, etc. Housekeeping services during the summer and Christmas – New Years Holiday periods should be reserved with final payments.

How do we know if the house has A/C or other specific items?

The individual house descriptions are detailed so it should be listed but if you have specific requests please ask. Please note that all homes are individually owned so each owner has the right to change the decor and amenities as they see fit.

Can I get our pool heated?

Each house is individual and only some homes have a pool heat option. Rates vary from $100 to $200/day for optional electric pool heat. Please ask us if your rental house has a option to heat your pool. Advance payment is requested for this service.

Can we have an event such as a wedding, reception, BBQ or party at the house we rent?

All of our homes are for quiet accommodations only and gatherings of any size are strictly prohibited. Therefore, if you have friends or family in town that are not listed on the guest agreement as occupants of the home, please know that any get-togethers you wish to have will need to take place off premises. Any exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and must be in writing from Trinity Properties. Having an event without permission can lead to eviction and loss of security deposit.

Are there any types of insurance we can get for our vacation?
